Qualified Electrician – Solar PV

If you are a fully qualified electrician with 3-phase experience looking to move into the ever evolving renewable energy industry, then this is the role for you.

You will be working within a team of industry professionals, where you will receive extensive training in order to help you progress and explore additional roles within the sector.
This well-established company are the renewable energy product suppliers of a national wholesaler, specialising in installing for commercial & industrial solar PV projects throughout the UK.
In this role, you will be responsible for the electrical installation and testing of solar PV and battery storage systems to commercial & industrial business properties throughout the UK, with some domestic work. Training on solar PV will be provided, and travel & staying away will be required.
We are looking for a fully qualified electrician, with NVQ Level 3 and/or time-served, with a hunger to learn new technology and progress into the renewable energy industry. It is essential that candidates have 18th edition and 2391 Test and Inspect. You must have excellent communication and customer service skills, and a full UK Driving License.

The Role:
* Electrical installation of Solar PV and battery storage systems on industrial business roof-tops, with some domestic work also required
* Test and sign off electrical work
* Responsible for H&S and other electricians on site
* The ability to provide excellent customer service and be respectful in customer properties
* Covering the entire UK with some nationwide travel and stay aways
The Person:
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
* 18th Edition
* 2391 Inspection and Testing
* Experience working in commercial / industrial environments is highly desirable
* Experience on Solar PV is required
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Full Clean UK Driving license
